But just in case you don't, here's a very quick 101...

PKR is a next-gen online poker room that's going to knock your socks off. With hi-res realtime 3D graphics, PKR is the most realistic online poker game ever, period.

A key part of the game is that each in-game character is fully customisable and is animated, so players can use emotes and body language to express feelings (that damn river!), read and give off poker tells while looking cool by showing off chip tricks.

You can find out more and see some screenshots/movies by visiting the PKR website at www.pkr.com.

So why the blog? Well, we're moving quickly towards our beta test phase, and we want to have a means of letting everyone know of the things we're working on (think of it as a window into our dev offices). It also seems like the perfect environment in which to float new ideas and see just what sort of next-gen poker room everyone wants.

So don't think of this as a one-way street. If you've got any ideas, thoughts, questions etc just let us know either through our blog or by emailing us at hello@pkr.com.
